A Unique Mix of Citizen Journalist's Zine and Social Community
Road Passion is a citizen's journalism site, where the reporting is generated by it's free members, a member of the Zines Onlinecommunity of zines/social communities. We also post road tests, reviews and news from our team of journalists.

Mission

At Road Passion, we are all car mad, road addicted and in love with the drive. For three years, thousands of you visited our old site for the latest road tests and automotive news. Now, we've moved, and a lot has changed!

A Social Community of Roadies

We are now also a social community of roadies. (No, not band roadies—the real roadies, the one's who love the open road.)

To our thousands of visitors and subscribers, thank you for following us to our new combined online magazine and social community—a place for people who are roadies—people who love the smell of a little burnt rubber, a hot tar road on a summer's day, the feel of the wind in hair in a top-down car, the lurch of a dropped clutch, the thrill of a power slide!  And pretty well anything with rubber on rims.

To new visitors, welcome! Buckle up for some serious lateral g's.

The New Road Passion
At the new Road Passion, our correspondents will continue to contribute excellent road tests and features. Our passion for the automobile is undiminished by high gas prices and spiralling insurance rates!

Now, You Are the Citizen Journalist
We are now part of the Zines Online group of "citizen reporters"  zines/social communities. After all, what is a good blog, but a citizen speaking with an influential voice to another citizen. Share this with us. You, be the road tester. You, be the feature writer.

Join as a free member (little box, top right). Then, give us your views, your tests, your comments. We'll share back. And comment. As a member:

• post videos and pictures and polls
• vote on other people's posts.

As a Zines Online site, we only moderate for flaming, spam and the like. We're not correcting your spelling mistakes! And you're responsible for your own statements (see Usage Terms and Privacy). And we'll approve most posts. The truly excellent posts will appear on our home page. All posts will appear on the blog page (see menu at the top).

You are the journalist
We believe in freedom of press and freedom of speech, and the citizen's right to express. Simply join us, and post your views, news, stories, insights, feature stories and opinions. We only moderate content for hate, spam and flaming of other members. All other content is your own responsibility. See Terms of Use.

To Join
Simply click SIGN UP in the top right box. You will only be asked for your email address and your own self-assigned password. After that, you may be asked for your name. Everything else is at your discretion, although we hope you'll take a moment to populate your "MY PAGE" — found on the top menu — with your picture, bio and interesting facts.

My Page
Only your MyPage you can post to your blog, or upload or stream videos, photos and create your own groups (where permitted by the moderator). You can also make friends. Search our members, read their posts, and ask them to be social by clicking on "Invite as Friend" on their personal "My Page."
Your blogs will always appear on on Blog page. Some featured blogs will also appear on our home page.
